Sweet with light peat to start off with. Bourbon cask influence as I pick up vanilla, some smoked honey (if it’s not a thing, it should be a thing), pear drops and light toffee. Cereal developing latterly. Taste: Light on the peat and there’s a youthful note there but it’s not harsh. The whole thing has a softness about it. The honey’s there but it’s joined by citrus and pudding spices. Very approachable.
