LOUIS XIII cognac contains a unique blend of the finest and most precious eaux-de-vie from grapes grown in Grande Champagne. This fiery, colourless liquid is poured into century-old Limousin oak casks to mature over the years.

Since 1874, our Cellar Masters have set aside the finest Grande Champagne eau-de-vie for their successor to use in the future. At the same time, our Cellar Master will use artistic intuition and craftsmanship to hand-pick different combinations of aged eaux-de-vie set aside by their predecessors to blend in such a way that retains the taste and aromas of LOUIS XIII cognac throughout time.

How to enjoy: There should no distractions for those fortunate enough to participate in a tasting of this outstanding Cognac. Every sip deserves your utmost attention as this Cognac offers a once in a lifetime experience that can never be replicated again. Firstly, you’ll need to ensure the tasting takes place with the use of the correct glassware. We recommend serving the Cognac at room temperature, in a tulip glass as the narrow neck of this type of glass allows the aromas to disperse evenly throughout the tasting. Allow the Cognac to breathe for at least ten minutes, before bringing the glass to the nose to begin a blissful journey of the senses.
