Jacob’s Creek Expedition pays tribute to the ship that brought our founder, Johann Gramp, on an expedition across the seas to South Australia in 1837. Ten years after disembarking ‘The Solway’, Johann was to plant the first vines on the banks of Jacob’s Creek.

Nose: Classy blackcurrant fruit, ripe wild berries and brooding dark fruits with a hint of olive rounded out by complex yet subtle cedar oak

Taste: This is a full-bodied wine with a wonderful structure and texture, impressive intensity, classic regional fine-grained tannins and great length.
