Shaw + Smith Pinot Noir 750ml

Semi translucent bright dark crimson red colour with a crimson red hue. The nose reveals fresh dark cherry and strawberry aromas over some light toasty cedar, subtle meatiness and spice. Light weight and fresh the palate has a supple mouthfeel with flavours of dark cherries and strawberries followed by spicy cedar and a touch of meatiness on the finish. Good power wave. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of dark cherries, ripe strawberries and spicy cedar. Quite savoury now but will benefit greatly with more time in the bottle.
